The nazca also spelled nasca lines are geoglyphs located in an arid coastal area of peru that cover an estimated 170 square miles 450 square kilometers. The geoglyphs date from 100 bc. The nasca lines remain an unsolved mystery.
Located in the desert on the south coast of peru the nasca geoglyphs are among the worlds largest drawings. Calling it a nazca line however appears to be something of a misnomer. The nazca lines naezk are a group of very large geoglyphs made in the soil of the nazca desert in southern peru.
The key to understanding one recently rediscovered geoglyph however lies in much smaller works of art. Scratched on the ground they number in. At the time just 30 geoglyphs.
