The enormous land drawings of nasca peru on a desolate plain in a valley in the south coastal region of peru there are what amounts to drawings of creatures.
Peru land drawings. They were created between 500 bce and 500 ce by people making depressions or shallow incisions in the desert floor removing pebbles and leaving differently colored dirt exposed. The lines drawings and geometric patterns cover an area of about 450 sq kms. The lines are more bewildering as sometimes lines could only be seen from an altitude of above 1000 ft.
The individual figurative geoglyph designs measure between 04 and 11 km across. The nazca lines naezk are a group of very large geoglyphs made in the soil of the nazca desert in southern peru. More than 50 of the massive ancient drawings are considered new.
