Having been around and prized for its extremely fine wool for centuries the merino sheep is a founding breed for many of the modern breeds found all around the world today.

Merino wool has a much smaller diameter around 20 microns than lambswool making it even softer and finer. He eluded his owners by hiding in a cave. Over the years he was at large he produced a whole lot of wool so much that it weighed 60 pounds.
Superfine merino can have a diameter down to 17 microns. While sheep normally get sheared once a year shrek hadnt been sheared in 6 years. We recommend merino wool a lot because its great and we love it.
But shrek decided to dodge shearing for 6 whole years.
