Icebreaker Merino Wool Socks Review
They stay up on your calf and fit your foot athletically.
Icebreaker merino wool socks review. Athletic socks make my feet cold in the winter especially if i double layer them. They also feel soft to the skin so you wont. Wash and dry just fine.
I have worn them about 10 total days skiing very aggressively and for 4 6 hours each day. Prior to purchasing my first pair of icebreaker merino wool socks i wasnt the type of person who thought much about socks. A deeper look at the padding and compression panelling that provides an exceptional overall fit.
These have good wicking ability and they dont hold a bad odor since the material is anti microbial and anti bacterial. Made from a merino wool and nylon blend these socks provide the perfect weight for wintertime remaining lightweight for a comfortable fit. Since it dries quickly and wicks well it can be worn all day from the hills to bed.
Time will tell how well these hold up to smartwool and darn tough which i also own but they seem well made with cushioning in just the right places for comfort without being too hot in summer they have a decent percentage of merino unlike many darn tough light cushion socks and the anatomical fit the toe box specifically shaped for right and left feet is genius and makes them feel like theyre custom made for your feet. Socks were merely a thing i wore when wearing shoes and i barely ever spent more than 5 per pair of socks. The sock is made out of 57 merino wool 40 nylon and 3 lycra offering a soft to the touch feel against the skin.
